Welcome to the RadSat websites. These sites are as simple as they get. If you are interested in Satellite TV, Radio (including Amateur Radio, Scanners, decoding, etc.), Aviation and Photography then these are for you. Please note that I am no expert in any of these subjects.. just my experiences of them. To enter a website that interests you click on the relevant link at the bottom of this page after you have read the warning. Here it is....
Read this..... (for scanner and utility radio users)....
Just because you own a Scanning receiver it doesn't mean you can get away with blue murder. There are certain things you CANNOT listen to without knowing the consequences. PLEASE NOTE that this site does not or will not encourage unlawful eavesdropping of 'sensitive' frequencies, such as the Emergency services, and so on. Even on the HF bands you are not supposed to listen to certain things.
The only transmissions you are authorised to listen to are Broadcast Radio Services and Amateur Band transmissions anything more than that you are in trouble. It is said that the Authorities turn a deaf ear to people listening to Air band transmissions, don't be so sure. If you do happen to 'stumble' onto a frequency not intended for unauthorised listening just think of the consequences, that is....you may end up with a hefty fine or even prison!
Many services will be using the digital "Airwave" or "Tetra" systems, therefore you can't listen to any of these transmissions with a standard scanner.
Any frequencies given on this web site regarding scanners and/or HF reception are to be used at the risk of the operator. No liability will be accepted by the webmaster for any action taken thereof.
If you live outside the UK check with your Radio Authority or government body for clarification before using any scanner.
This does not concern any frequencies on the satellite sub-site.
